How data is handled on the site

This summary reflects how the current application behaves. It should be reviewed again whenever storage, analytics, or ad integrations change.

Information you submit

When you run a link, place, or business check, the query text and generated report may be stored so the site can show recent reports, speed up repeat lookups, and improve report availability. When you submit a community comment, the comment text, author name if provided, rating, and vote totals are also stored.

Information the site does not currently ask for

The site does not require account creation for basic checks. It does not currently ask for passwords, government ID numbers, or payment details in order to use the core scanning tools.

Advertising

The site loads Google AdSense. Third-party advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve or measure ads subject to their own policies. You can learn more through Google's advertising and privacy documentation.

Cookies and browser storage

The application uses limited browser state for interface behavior. For example, a UI cookie may be used to remember sidebar state. See the cookie policy for a short summary.
